drawings

I draw intermittently, when there is inspiration to. I love to do it and it is a natural talent to me, but like with painting the endlessness of the possibilities is too overwhelming for it to be a satisfying outlet between ideas.

I do love to explore what it means to "draw" and find that in itself very inspiring. Dictionary.com has 71 entries for "draw". For this reason, if I had continued with art college I would have majored in drawing, and I consider myself first and foremost a drawer in all that I do. For organization's sake, though, I am reserving this page for classic 2d drawings.

image banking

Image banking was introduced to me during art college. It is a guided drawing exercise utulizing timed sessions and inspirational music. The commonest theme in my image bankings seems to be llamas. I'm not just being silly - it just happens.

Tools I employed were such as computer paper, india ink, pen & nibs, brushes, toothbrushes, water, q-tips, and food colouring.
